Touched by an Angel actor John Dye has died at the age of 47.
Dye passed away in California on Monday from heart failure, reports TV Squad.
The stage and TV actor played an angel named Andrew on the CBS drama series for nine seasons, from 1994 to 2003.
The Mississippi native also appeared in the TV shows Murder She Wrote, Tour of Duty and Promised Land.
