Holy moly.

Law & Order:UK, that is how you do a cliff-hanger ending!!!!

Very Spooks-like (seeing as Spooks set the standard for cliffhanger endings, that is a HUGE compliment!)

And that is all I'm saying on this subject, as I really don't want to spoil anyone who hasn't seen it yet!!

The universe obviously agrees that I should stop buying stuff off iTunes - internet slowed right down last night, so I only got 4 songs downloaded from David Cook's new album, thus scuppering my plan to listen to it on the way in and out to work today.

Woe.

On the bright side, I did read a kick-ass Law & Order: UK fic: one equal temper of heroic hearts by [info]vegarin.

Am posting this link here partly so I can find it again, but mostly because it is way too awesome not to be shared!!

Courtesy of [livejournal.com profile] diamondrocker , it's a Matt/Alesha (L&O:UK) picspam, which covers all the brilliant little moments they've had over the course of the series. Definitely worth a peek!!

Second time attempting to post this.... lets see if the cut tags work this time!!!

Thoughts behind the cut.. )

So, despite the fact that L&O is not a shippy show, there was a moment between Jamie and Freema's characters ("We're not just pretty faces") where I found myself thinking hmm.....

Then just as I was drifting off to sleep, it hit me that their character names are Matt and Alesha.

And if you don't realise why I found that amusing / disturbing, take a look at the icon....

Just finished watching the first ep - have to say I really enjoyed it (and that's coming from someone who could never get into any other version of the show).

Hearing Jamie use his real accent was a pleasant change (having peak practice flashbacks!) and even Bradley Walsh didn't bug me as much as he usually does! Am very much looking forward to next week....
