The universe obviously agrees that I should stop buying stuff off iTunes - internet slowed right down last night, so I only got 4 songs downloaded from David Cook's new album, thus scuppering my plan to listen to it on the way in and out to work today.

Woe.

On the bright side, I did read a kick-ass Law & Order: UK fic: one equal temper of heroic hearts by vegarin.

 Am posting this link here partly so I can find it again, but mostly because it is way too awesome not to be shared!!

So, despite the fact that L&O is not a shippy show, there was a moment between Jamie and Freema's characters ("We're not just pretty faces") where I found myself thinking hmm.....

Then just as I was drifting off to sleep, it hit me that their character names are Matt and Alesha.

And if you don't realise why I found that amusing / disturbing, take a look at the icon....
