Just saw this on friendsfriends - I guess it shows that it is actually possible to keep a secret in Hollywood...

Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Hilarie Burton Welcome Baby

Grey's Anatomy alum Jeffrey Dean Morgan, 44, and his girlfriend, former One Tree Hill star Hilarie Burton, 27, quietly welcomed a baby boy a few months ago, reports the new Us Weekly (on newsstands now).

The source tells Us Weekly the two began dating in 2009, and "their relationship moved really quickly."

The actress, who divorced One Tree Hill assistant director Ian Prange in 2008, was not photographed in public between May 6, 2009, and April 20, 2010. For his part, Morgan is already familiar with daddy duties: He learned just last March that he had a son, now 5, with actress Sherrie Ross.

"She would be a fantastic mother," Burton's ex Prange told Us recently.

OK, even if you're not a soap fan, you have GOT to read the Serial Drama column about James Franco joining GH, because it is one of the funniest things I've read from them (and that is really saying something!)

James Franco heads to General Hospital, and our heads explode in 50 different ways

Have to say that I'm with Mallory on this one - I just cannot stop laughing.

Almost gave myself lockjaw when I read this one:

JAMES FRANCO IS JOINING GENERAL HOSPITAL.

It's a recurring role, starting November 20th (just in time for sweeps) and according to Soapnet, Franco will play " mysterious character -- the details are too hot to share now -- who will interact with most of Port Charles and in particular, make Jason's life a living hell."

I mean, dude, seriously..... there are no words for how amazed I am right now, NONE.

Am very tired at the moment, and my internet connection is very slow, which I'm thinking is the universes way of telling me to go to bed!!!

Will put up my Strictly thoughts tomorrow - to be vague (at the risk of spoiling anyone) I was not delighted with the result, but not surprised either. Ricky Whittle's rumba was just amazing though, and I still love Brendan Cole.

And that is all I shall say about that!!

Had an interesting Holy Moly moment today - was attending a Readers Day in one of the county libraries, lots of different authors talking about their books and careers (including the fabulous Melissa Hill, whose books you should all rush out and read becuase they are fab!!) One of the other girls from my book club was there as well, and we were talking at lunch - she's living in the town, but isn't from there; but she mentioned tdoday that she has family living in the town, and that she used to come to them for he summer holidays, Being as you're a local, she said, you might know them. When she told me the name, I nearly fell off the chair - her aunt was best friends with my Aunt Nancy, who passed away a couple of years ago.

Just goes to show that ireland really is a very small place!!!

Another holy moly moment.... today is the ten year anniversary of Another World going off the air. That's absolutely mind-boggling to me - where does the time go???

Internet speed is still up and down like a fiddler's elbow; I'm downloading the first ep of "The Philantrophist" and it's been yoyo-ing like crazy - currently it's downloading at 145.3 kb/s, but a few minutes ago it was at 3kb/s!!! Had no intentions of downloading this til I heard Jesse L. Martin was in it, and then it got added to the To Do list!!! ([livejournal.com profile] helsinkibaby , bring a USB stick over at the weekend and it's yours!!!)

Had my Performance Appraisal at work yesterday evening - considering that my CM's never actually done one before (he's been on the receiving end, but never actually ran one himself!!) it went very well, he's quite happy with my work and the way I run the office. So yay!!! And today, everyone on site had to do a re-induction course for the second phase of the project which is starting up. On one hand, we're like "Christ, we have to do this AGAIN?" but on the other hand, if they're making us do the induction they must be intending on keeping us on!!! (We're getting very good at looking on the bright side in the construction game!!!)

So I've been watching The Mentalist for the last few weeks, and it's been driving me absolutely batty trying to work out where I know Owain Yeoman (Rigsby) from. I didn't recognise the name, but the face was just so familiar and I could not for the life of me figure out where I knew him from.

Until today.

He was the snarky British cook in Kitchen Confidential (whose name completely escapes me at the moment!!)

He looks completelt different - and his American accent is really good!! (I have a feeling if I heard him speak in his own Welsh accent it'd be like when I watch Matthew Rhys - total mindbender!!!)

Now, I need to search for a Rigsby icon......
