This is the first chance I've had to post this - James and Pamela's viennese waltz from last Saturday night's Strictly, which earned the first perfect score of the series....

That was fab! Are there always four judges on SCD? I wonder why they only do three on DWTS...

Wasn't it just amazing?? I literally screamed with delight when the 1st 10 went up - that judge, Craig Revel Horwood, is notoriously tough; he doesn't give out 10's easily so usally when he does you know it's gonna be 40!

Yep, we've always had 4 judges - don't know why they only have 3 on DWTS. Though I will say that in the last couple of SCD seasons when they had the dance-off and judges vote 3 would have been better - if it went to deadlock, then Len got the decifing vote which meant that he essentially got 2 votes,which I didn't think was fair....

Oh she was just lovely- and sixty years old. Good for her.

Maybe they decided an odd number would be better on DWTS because there is the deadlock on SCD. And as far as Len getting the deciding vote...SCD and DWTS are his babies, right? They were his concept and he's more or less in charge. I'm good with it, I think he's the most impartial on DWTS, anyway.

Well, Len's Head Judge, hence the deciding vote, which is fair enough. He may be the most impartial on DWTS, but sometimes on SCD he isn't, he definitely can have his favourites (he LOVES sportsmen, for example. Fairest judge on SCD (for me, anyway) is Craig, who's the tough/horrible judge but he's usually right on the money!!
