Folks, I'm sure it goes without saying, please don't link back anything on my LJ to Facebook or Twitter.

I have WAY too many work peeps friended on FB who know nothing about this LJ, and I'd really like to keep it thay way :-)

Edited to add: it goes both ways, I won't do it to any of ye either.....

I was writing a post about this same thing and this is the honest truth, you stole my title, lol. There is no other word for it but brouhaha, right? I can't understand the idiotic thought processes of these people, WTH?

Goes without saying, I promise, seriously, at first I freaked out and then I thought about my flist and what are the odds that anyone would do that, zero.

"Brouhaha" is such a great word - I could think of others but I have a thing about *not* swearing on my LJ LOL!!

And I agree - I don't think anyone on my flist would either. Do not understand what LJ are playing at here....

As far as I know I don't have mine set to cross post. This whole thing just confuses me a bit. I hate change. LoL

I've disabled pingbacks in my settings, not sure if that does any good or not - as far as I can work out, once you don't tick the crosspost buttons that appear underneath comments or post boxes, you're okay.

(Mind you, I don't have my FB or Twitter details linked in the control panel, which seems the safest way of avoiding accidental cross-posting!!)

Count me in as confused and hating change too :-)
