The Mac Is Back.....

smiley_bWent to see Fleetwood Mac last night in the O2 - oh my god, they were SUPERB!!! Played for over 2 and a half hours - by the time it finished my ears were ringing and I had no voice, but it was so totally worth it!!
Stevie Nicks is still a complete goddess, and Lindsay Buckingham is one of the finest guitarists of his generation.
Highlights:
+ "The Chain" - do I even need to explain this one?
+ Lindsay, on his own on the stage, just him and a guitar singing "Big Love"
+ Stevie dedicating "Landslide" to Stephen Gately, Classy.
+ A rousing version of "Go Your Own Way" which nearly took the roof off the Point.
+ "Don't Stop" - see above
+ Tusk - so damn catchy!!!
+ Final song of the night (after several encores) was "Silver Springs", which was truly gorgeous.
If any of you get a chance to go and see them on tour, GO!!!
