Soap Opera Digest is now reporting that Nancy St Alban is returning to GL as Michelle Bauer Santos. Plans for a recast were scrapped after the cancellation announcement.

Oy.

Nothing against NSA, I'm sure she's a lovely person but there are no words for how much I loathed her portrayal of Michelle. (Okay, there are words, but much of them are of the four letter variety).

My first words weren't work friendly either!!

I think I read somewhere that she's just had or is due another baby, which is why they were looking at recasting. (that could have been spin to placate the more rabid Mannyacs though)

But if it is on the up and up, it explains why she'd be willing to go back. (Though I would crazy love it if they could have borrowed Bethany Joy Lenz from OTH!!)

Don't get me wrong, you know how much I loved Danny & Michelle V1 and I know I should be at least happy that he's back, but she just wrecks it.
