Well, I had a lovely long "I can't believe I haven't posted in over a month post" all written and ready to go and then Chrome crashed and I lost the whole thing.

Lovely!

It has definitely been one of Those Days - starting with this morning, 15 mins away from work, I drove onto the N4 and into a Winter Wonderland - it was wellying down snow!! Heavy enough that it was beginning to lie and we were all in the office planning exit strategies (in order to avoid the 4/5/6 hour journeys that snow tends to bring in this country -Ireland really does not do snow well!) Luckily for us all it stopped and then a thaw set in so it's all gone - though there could be more snow tonight, the forecasters are just a bit iffy on where it could land! And with temps going to -6 tonight, the roads will be fun in the morning!!

Am woefully behind in all my shows (as ever) though I did spend the Christmas break marathoning seasons 1 and 2 of Covert Affairs, which I love! Season 3 is on the laptop, so if we do get a snow day I could power through that.... very unlikely though!

Boo, I hate when that happens.

Covert Affairs! That's another show I adore. I'm totally a Annie/Auggie shipper, lol.

So you're from Ireland? I so want to visit that country one day. Hopefully you won't be out in it for too long and that you have power!

Yep, I'm from Ireland - I live in a very small (very very small) village about 3mins outside of Dublin. You should totally come and visit - obviously I'm biased, but there's so much to see & do here!

Word of warning - if you're coming during what the rest of the world calls "summer", you might be disappointed. We don't really get a summer here - as the joke goes "in the bible it rained for 40 days and 40 nights and they called it an abomination. Here, we call that summer!"

Lol, over here it's been a similar day, lots of people left their cars at home this morning because it was snowing, though it was too warm to actually do mutch damage. I love snowy winters back home, where cars, houses and people are prepared for it, but in the UK snow and ice are a big inconvenience because everything comes to a standstill. But if you get time off to watch Covert Affairs I guess there is not too much reason to complain!

Ireland's the same as the UK, not geared for snow At All. Where are you from originally?

And there was no snow today, so no Covert Affairs marathon for me. Woe!

Southern Germany, right on the border to Austria. So snow is a permanent fixture for about 3 month every year, everybody is prepared, and there's lot of things like skiing, ice-scating, sledging etc to make up for the inconvineces having to dress like and eskimo, dig out your car and clear the sidewalks. Ah, well...

Sorry to hear you didn't get to stay at home and do a telly day, but at least it means you still have something to look forward to?!?

See, that's the thing about being used to having snow - it's a pain in the ass but it doesn't stop you going about your routine!! How long have you been in the UK?
Covert Affairs s3 marathon is pencilled in for Saturday, when I have the house to myself! :-)

I marathoned Covert Affairs a couple of months ago and got 100% hooked on the damn thing completely accidentally. And I managed to hold off on shipping Annie/Auggie for pretty much the entirety of the first 2 seasons and then suddenly BOOM S3 and I was uncontrollable in my desire to see it happen. BE CAREFUL DUDE.

I like Annie/Auggie, but at the moment I'm shopping Annie/Eyal (and I'm honest enough to admit my live for Oded Fehr is a big part of that!)

There will be plenty of posts as I work through s3, I'm sure!

Man, I'm eternally torn on that issue. I love Annie with both of them. I guess from a tv pov Annie/Auggie is harder to pull off because realistically they can't send him out into the field too often, and Annie needs somebody who has her back in dicey situations. Will be intersting to see where they take it next season...

Piper is one of those actresses who has chemistry with all of her co-stars isn't she? I will admit, I'm spoiled for the end of s3 (I know how it ends, but not how they get there if that makes sense!). It's just such a good show & gets so little love!

I ADORE Annie/Eyal in a friendship way. And I kind of like him being all superior initially and then realising that she's basically HBIC and going all mooney over her. But I don't ship them particularly as a couple. I can see that it would be easy to do so though!

One of the things I love about Covert Affairs is that it is such a shippable show!!
