Casting news - The Mentalist

smiley_bFrom reading Twitter this morning, Greg Vaughan (ex-Lucky, General Hospital) announced that he'd booked a recurring gig on The Mentalist.
No concrete details on who he's playing, but I'm just wondering if he's the new love interest for Van Pelt - Ausiello described the character: "Craig O'Loughlin: in his late 20's to early 30's, Craig is a football player turned FBI agent" - Greg would certainly fit that mould.
Plus, on a purely shallow note, he and Amanda Righetti would certainly bring the pretty!!
