CBS cancels Without a Trace

Ausiello is reporting that CBS has pulled the plug on Without a Trace; apparently it came down to a choice between that and Numb3rs, and they opted to save Numb3rs as it's cheaper to produce.

I'm far more sanguine about this than I actually expected to be - I'm downloading as it airs, but I'm watching way less of the eps than usual; mainly because this season has become The Jack and Sam and Baby Show, and seeing as I can't stand Jack and Sam, that is obviously a problem!! So I'm surprisingly okay with it being canned.

(Though if CBS wanted to produce a show with Viv, Danny and Martin searching for missing people / solving other crimes, I would be all over that!!)

Yeah, I'm kinda not bothered if it does get cancelled. I'm a bit behind (only about 1/2 way through the season.. I too am not a fan of the baby/sam/jack storylines!
