Crystal announced the news herself on Twitter.... given that she's one of the most popular actors in the medium right now, I think this is a huge mistake.

it's frustrating that amazing actors continually get fired for younger less experienced and often times less talented actors.

Completely agree on this; and then people wonder why soaps are dying - because of bonehead decisions like this one!

The tweet wasn't on Crystal's own page, she tweeted it from her husband Michael Sabatino's account, so some people may have missed it at first. I saw it just as I was going to bed.... knocked the sleepiness right out of me!
