100 things - #7

This is one of my favourites from last season's SCD:

Chelsee & Pasha - Jive - I'm a Believer

Jive was always going to be a perfect dance for Chelsee - she's so bright and bubbly, and this jive was just pure fun. Loved the choreo, thought it was really sharp and she executed it all so well.

Plus you have to have mad respect for Pasha for getting made up as Shrek!!

In other news, I just visited your icon list thing to see who made the Gail one I now covet [was it you, by the way?], and I have discovered we have SO MUCH RANDOM TELEVISION in common!!

RUSH! OMG, RUSH!!! Australian dramas typically suck actual ass [I saw Sea Patrol on your list too and, yeah..! Haha!!], but Rush was on a whole different level. Man, oh, man. That last season? RUINED ME. And I will NEVER be okay with how they ended it. NEVERRRRR. So. Cheated.

*ranty sob*

Ahem, yeah. That happened.

As you were.

Thanks - I made that Gail one - anything on my icon page that isn't credited to someone else I made myself. Feel free to snag it if you want, we need more Gail love in the RB fandom!!

Oh Rush, I LOVE that show!! Like yourself, the last season KILLED me - between poor dead Michael and the way they ended it.... I'm surprised you didn't hear my scream of outrage in Australia! (I'm guessing you're an Aussie given your username, if I'm wrong no offence is meant...)

This is somewhat unrelated, but do you know what my all-time favorite Pasha dance is? From SYTYCD s7, his Argentine Tango with Lauren Froderman. It was such a lovely, different concept for that dance and it's one of my old favorites that I always go back to. I'm in my car right now but I can find the link for you later.

I know you linked me to one of his dances before, can't remember if it was that one or not (as that one video led to a monster YouTube binge!!) Would love the link if its not too much bother (I do love a good Argentine Tango!!)

Here you go!

What I loved about this was that it felt different from other AT's, which are a lot of back-and-forth battles of seduction, but I got the feeling of this very haunted man, remembering the woman he loved. Very passionate. And I loved the music, which had a Parisian, 1920's feel, rather than a Buenos Aires brothel.
